2021 SEASON REVIEW

My first full year on Europro and it was a mixture of some highs and lows like any seasons. My best finish being 6th in Scotland at Montrose, I was on the line of keeping my card and missing it towards the end of the season. But, I managed to dig deep and put in a couple of good performances in my last few events to secure my card for 2022. Because of 2020 not happening, I was in the mindset of playing every week to which this wouldn't normally happen and I ended playing 6 consecutive weeks which was tough not only physically but very draining mentally. In a 'normal' season I would play 3/4 weeks maximum then have a week off for a little reset. In that 6 week run I had 4 straight missed cuts, 3 of which being by 1 shot. The biggest thing I learned from 2021 is over the course of a season, every single shot counts because that can be the difference to making a cut or finishing in a good place to earn that extra £200/£300 to either gain a Challenge Tour card or lose your card.
